Rebecca asked Irene, her teacher, to fill the tin with as much hydrogen as possible so that a loud explosion can result. Irene responded "I don't think that will work. In fact quite the opposite will happen". Explain Why?

Explain what proportion of oxygen to hydrogen will be just right for the loudest explosion possible, given that the tin is 2 litres in volume.
