Making a latex ball
Shape the set latex into a ball. Be careful not to squeeze too hard as the unset latex underneath the surface will eject out. Wrap the ball in paper towelling and submerge it underwater while squeezing.

When vinegar is added to the liquid latex a solid rubber is formed. This rubber has certain properties that are different to the original latex. The ball bounces when dropped. The long molecules called polymers are now held together.
