Latex The latex mould of your hand |
||
|
Before
starting. Apply a little latex to the skin. Wait 5 minutes If the skin becomes
red and itchy the student is allergic to latex and must not participate
in the activity. Using a brush, apply a thin layer of latex to the surface of the skin and dry using a hair dryer. Make sure that the brush is kept moist with latex. |
|
As the latex dries it becomes clear. It is now time to apply the next
thin layer of latex.

After the tenth layer of latex it is time to start adding some structural strength to the glove. We do this by using latex to paint small pieces of paper on a small area of the latex glove while painting the rest of the glove as normal with latex.The layer is then dried and the process repeated using another area of the glove to apply the paper to. | ||
