A plane with a total mass of 3,450Kg carries 5 skydivers 2.5 km above Melbourne. The average mass of each skydiver is 89.3kg. Assuming the mass of fuel does not change significantly calculate the gravitational potential energy of the plane and pilot after the skydivers have jumped.
