Boost Glider continued

Cut the tail fin with the dimensions shown on the right.

For added strength, make sure the grain of the balsa wood runs top to bottom.

Assemble the tail fin and wings to the 18 cm long rectangular block of balsa wood as shown on the right.
The glider is shown front on. A few things to note:
- make sure the wings are symmetrical and elevated 15o to the horizontal.
- make sure that the tail fin is perfectly in line with the length of the glider.
The finished glider should be tested for stability and flight. Use plasticine to add weight to the front of the glider if necessary.
Ask your teacher to show you how to get your gliders ready for flight.
