The body and wheels part 2

Step 6) Pass the rear axle through the screw eyes. As you can see from the picture on the left many different ways can be used to fix the wheels to the axle.

Attach the front wheels using screw eyes to the body of the vehicle.

Step 7 Attach the spring extension to the spring as shown on the right. Twisting wire around the spring and extension works well. Using garbage bag ties also works well.

Step 8) Attach a piece of string to the end of the extension (as shown) and wrap the other end of the string around the rear axle.

You are now ready to race.
