Fins and launch lug
Cut the fins from the balsa wood.

Step 1 Cut the fins from the balsa wood

 
Step 2 Glue the fins to the end of the rocket as shown in the picture on the left. Space the fins evenly apart and make sure they lined up along the length of the rocket.
Glue the fins to the rear section of the rocket.
Step 3 Glue the launch lug half way up the body of the rocket. Make sure it is straight and lined up along the length of the rocket. Do not glue fins directly under the launch lug.
