A brand of salts
called Health Salt was analysed. A sample of the salt was dissolved in hydrochloric
acid and held under a bunsen flame. The flame colour was then observed with
a spetroscope. The spectrum produced by the salt is shown below. In the
advertising brochure it states "This salt contains potassium to
revitalise heart function" Is this a false claim? What element can you identify as being present in the Health Salts? |
