Preparing the base cont.

Step 3 Glue a large axle ring to each side of the 7cm axle as shown on the left.
Step 4 Prepare a 2.5ccm syringe (as shown earlier) and secure it to the base as shown on the right.
Glue the syringe attachment to the base.
Preparing the point of rotation of the base.
 Step 5 Place the third 2cm spacer tube through the hole in the base so that it just protrudes a little at the top. This will form the swivel point through which the base will rotate when placed on the stand.
Step 6 Glue the spacer tube.
Glue the spacer tube into position.
